Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice
Would you like to help develop and inspire future health professionals to support the effective use of medicines? Could you contribute to a research programme which focuses on a patient-centred approach to the best use of medicines?

We are looking for a pharmacist with experience in practice to join an
enthusiastic team of pharmacists teaching medicines management to a multidisciplinary School and Faculty of undergraduate and post-graduate students.
You will ensure that students receive an exceptional learning experience
through your teaching of the theory and practice of medicines management.
You will also contribute to developing pharmacy practice research in the School.

Although you do not need experience in HE you should have some experience of teaching, not necessarily in a formal setting. You will however have a PhD in Pharmacy practice (or equivalent, e.g. DPharm) or be nearing completion of a postgraduate research degree at a comparable level. You will be a registrant on the GPhC register of pharmacists or be eligible for registration and have practice experience.

We welcome applications from qualifi†ed practitioners wanting to work part
time, perhaps integrating practice with teaching and research.

University Grade 7 (£31,342 - £37,394 p.a.) and Grade 8 (£38,511 - £45,954 p.a.) (pro rata if applicable) depending on qualifi‘cations and experience.

Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice
Do you wish to use your experience to contribute to leadership in pharmacy practice and medicines management?

The post is part of our strategy to develop research capacity and support
student education in pharmacy practice and medicines management.

You will lead an area of research which will underpin professional education to students at all levels including Doctoral, master and postdoctoral fellows. In addition to being able to demonstrate both clinical experience and academic and research leadership you will have in depth knowledge and understanding of pharmacy policy and practice and be able to apply this to our pre and post registration education and training.

‰You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in pharmacy or a related discipline and be a registrant on the GPhC register or be eligible for registration.

University Grade 9 (£47,328 - £54,841 p.a.) (pro rata if applicable) depending on quali‘fications and experience.
