We have an opportunity available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Information Pharmacist to join our Information Services Team in Tamworth.
Our Information Pharmacists provide a confidential, one to one, high quality information service to Numark members throughout the UK. You will answer queries, by telephone, fax and email, on issues such as the NHS contract, Pharmacy regulation, clinical queries as well as legal and ethical issues. You will identify trends within these queries and work closely with other teams to design and deliver solutions. You will also analyse and produce reports on member usage, as well as participating in developing SOP’s, writing copy articles for print and online publications and our website - NumarkNet.
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist, and member of the GPhC, with excellent knowledge and experience of community pharmacy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to the role and you will be able to respond to queries with courtesy, expediency and accuracy. You will be computer literate, and experience in providing medical information would be advantageous.
Your hours of work will be Monday to Wednesday 9am – 6pm.
