Pharmacy Teaching Fellow - Kingston
Part time, 22.5 per week
Role is primarily teaching clinical practice to pharmacy students from a number of courses but mainly the MPharm. This is through lectures, workshops, practicals and placements.
The most interesting elements are our students and the wide range of expertise in our team ranging from pure science to specialist pharmacy practice. Our links with the medical school at St George’s is unique in pharmacy education in the UK and we have links with a wide range of practitioners.
The posts are part time, working two days a week
These positions will suit academic pharmacists with clinical teaching experience, clinical pharmacists with considerable education and training experience or pharmacists currently working in education with a clinical background. They will suit someone looking to move into academia, further develop their skills, and importantly want to share their professional experience in developing the next generation of pharmacists.
Good communication skills in both teaching and learning but also with colleagues are important as are team working and collaboration skills.
