- Salary range: $94,085 - $111,727 (Level B); $115,255 - $132,899 (Level C) per annum (as at first pay period post 30 June 2017)

The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences focuses on applied research and professional education, enriched by the professional knowledge of its staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong partnerships with industry, community, and professional bodies. In addition to purpose-built laboratory facilities to service the School’s pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, laboratory medicine and nutrition programs, the School’s research laboratories and animal house provide researchers with access to cutting-edge facilities. The School also has a close association with the Sansom Institute for Health Research (SIHR), with research concentrations in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science and Chemistry; Medical and Biological Sciences; and Nutrition and Food Sciences.
As Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice, you will be responsible for contributing to the teaching, scholarship, research and professional activities of the School. The teaching focus of this position will primarily be on coordination and teaching of courses within the School’s undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs in Pharmacy, and development of multidisciplinary teaching in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.
Skills and Experience
To be successful you will have a PhD in Pharmacy or relevant discipline and eligibility for registration as a Pharmacist. You will also have demonstrated experience and knowledge in the quality use of medicines and its application to clinical practice and provision of therapeutic advice in a range of practice settings. Your ability to effectively manage within a changing environment including adapting to new technologies is essential for this role.
