Band 6 Pharmacy Lecturer
Defence School of Healthcare Training is to deliver agreed individual training to defined standards (including those set by external professional bodies) in order to meet the needs of the Defence Medical Services as a whole, the single Service Front Line Commands and the JMC Commands Mission Directive, in order to contribute to the physical and moral components of fighting power.
As an Instructor you are to:
Undertake adequate preparation for instruction in advancement of delivering a lesson, ensuring that information delivered is current and accurate in meeting the course Training Objectives.
Ensure that training areas and equipment are appropriately prepared prior to the delivery of training, to create a satisfactory training environment. This is to include cleanliness and tidiness.
Ensure you are appropriately trained and qualified to undertake your role, this includes being competent in the use of any associated equipment.
Make trainees/students aware of risks associated with a particular training activity or training environment prior to entering the training environment or the training activity taking place.
Deliver training, using relevant training methods and media, in accordance with approved training documentation.
Evidence of Immunity to Hep B is required.
