The UK headquarters is based at Runcorn in Cheshire, from which the corporate service divisions support the local business activities.
In this field based role reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for an area covering approximately 25 branches. You will lead, direct, and motivate your teams; at the same time promoting high standards of retail and dispensary practice, as well as ensuring NHS and OTC growth.  You will have key capability in developing strong relationships, facilitating communication between branches and Head Office.
Support will be provided to ensure your success in this role by a strong Head Office team of both clinical and operational experts to help you ensure the profitability of each branch.  You will be expected to proactively contribute to the growth and development of your defined business area as well as accountability for all statutory and professional duties within your branches.
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Pharmacy or similar and will have a background in pharmacy management, with demonstrable financial and commercial acumen to make sound business decisions. You will have the ability to lead a team of healthcare professionals and ideally you will have experience of field based management.
Experienced pharmacy managers with the desire to move into a field based role will also be considered for the position.
