Have you ever considered a career in Guernsey in the Channel Islands, serving the community and making a real difference to the direction of Cancer Services?  Do you want to have a rewarding career balanced with a healthy work-life balance?

We have a great opportunity for a Lead Pharmacist, Cancer Services to provide, manage and develop clinical pharmacy services to Oncology/Haematology at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on Guernsey in accordance with local and national directives.

You will be the strategic lead for the clinical chemotherapy service, holding overall responsibility, (strategic and operational), for the provision of chemotherapy to adults and paediatric Oncology/Haematology in-patients, day cases and out patients within the Health and Social Care service  in line with local and national cancer standards.

Furthermore, you will act as an Advanced Practitioner clinical pharmacist to oncology and haematology, having responsibility for setting up and maintaining a Pharmacist Lead orals clinic and overall responsibility for cytotoxic chemotherapy.

So if you are already practising or have an interest in Oncology and want to consolidate that by becoming an Independent Prescriber or you are already an Independent Prescriber and would enjoy the challenge of setting up and running a Pharmacist Lead Oncology Orals Clinic this is the job for you.

Finally you will need to participate in the Saturday, pharmacy bank holiday, flexible working weekend and evening rotas, as required to meet the needs of the service
