Teaching Fellow (Maternity Cover)

Part Time: 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)

Salary: UCL Grade 7 salary range £38,581 - £41,864 per annum , inclusive of London Allowance.

Within UCL School of Pharmacy, the Research Department of Policy and Practice consists of a diverse group of pharmacists, psychologists and social science researchers with a wide network of associations with other academic and clinical disciplines and institutions in the UK and abroad.

Staff are involved in curriculum development and teaching across all four years of the MPharm course.

As a part-time member of the teaching team, the post holder will plan, design and develop innovative and appropriate teaching, learning and assessment methods that create interest, understanding and enthusiasm to students a within a range of subject areas. The post holder may teach on any of the four years of the MPharm undergraduate programme. The details of the degree programme may be seen on the Division's web-site at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/. The post is to undertake specific maternity leave cover until 12th October 2018, the duration of which is dependent upon the return of the post holder. Working days are : Wednesday morning,Thursday and Friday

Recognised expertise in pharmacy practice in an appropriate field such as community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, primary care, industry. Proven track record of ability to deliver teaching at undergraduate level and ability to make a significant contribution to designing subject delivery.
