A career in Pharmacy?

Pharmacy is typically described as the science or practice of the preparation and dispensing of medicinal drugs.

You might think that pharmacists simply dispense medicine, however, they do a great deal more. Pharmacists are highly trained medical professionals, qualified to give advice on health issues & medicines, and ensure the safe supply and use of medicines by the public.

It's likely you'll have visited a pharmacy in the past month and you're not the only one! In England alone, 1.6 million people visit a pharmacy each day and, an average person will visit a pharmacy 14 times over the course of a year.

There are also many sectors of pharmacy, while the community pharmacist is a familiar sight, there are pharmacists that work as pharmaceutical scientists, for example, developing drugs & manufacturing processes.
