Imagine having a challenging and rewarding career while based on the beautiful island of Guernsey, just an hour’s flight from the UK.

We are looking for a professional with proven UK Hospital experience (or equivalent) in areas of dispensary services or medicines management to assist in the delivery and further development of our medicines management services to wards including the development of and participation in Medicines Reconciliation, Patient Discharge and Technician Lead Drug Rounds.

Acting as the Dispensary Manager, you will be responsible for organising and participating in the dispensing of medicines for all inpatients, outpatients and clinics at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital and outlying hospital wards under the care of Health and Social Care, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary and ward services and compliance with all relevant professional standards and service level agreements.

As an expert in your field, you will be responsible for supervising, leading, motivating,  and training our small team of staff allocated to the dispensary and ward services, including assistants, technicians, and pre-registration pharmacists and technicians.

This is a key role, where you will lead by example and develop the service with and alongside the Head Technician. This is mixed with living on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel islands where you have an exceptional work-life balance as well as a rewarding career.
