Band 8A Pharmacist
The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) will move from Headley Court in Epsom, Surrey to a new location at Stanford Hall, near Loughborough in Leicestershire during Summer 2018.
Stanford Hall will be the permanent location of this post however up until the move the successful applicant will be required to work at DMRC Headley Court. The Department will provide financial assistance to support this temporary arrangement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 8A Pharmacist.
The Post Holder will be responsible for the provision of specialist professional advice and leadership on prescribing and pharmaceutical issues to DPHC East Region whilst ensuring compliance with Medicine Legislation and congruence with the government framework.
In liaison with the HQ DMRC Pharmacist, provide support to and co-ordination of Medical Centres within East Region to ensure the delivery, within a medicines management framework, of a legal, safe, cost-effective and efficient high quality pharmaceutical service.
Post Holder will also be required to facilitate good relationships across the Region with all prescribers and other key Practice staff including pharmacy/dispensary staff and liaison with NHS organisations and teams, including those in secondary care and local Controlled Drug Accountable Officer networks, on Medicine Management issues as appropriate.
