We are seeking an enthusiastic Antimicrobial Pharmacist, who can maintain our pace and drive and who enjoys the challenges offered in the perioperative environment of Noble’s Hospital. This newly created position involves working alongside the hospital Consultant Microbiologist to promote good Antimicrobial stewardship.

The job will involve collaborating with the Consultant Microbiologist to develop, review and implement antimicrobial policies and guidelines. You will be a member of the Infection Control Team and will monitor antimicrobial drug use and expenditure. The role will include audit and supervision of training of Band 7 Pharmacists and to provide on-going education on the rational and safe use of antimicrobial agents to other healthcare professionals.

You will also be required to work within the Pharmacy department at Noble’s Hospital. You will perform the professional role of a Practising Registered Pharmacist, including clinical service (both ward-based and prescription screening in the Pharmacy), provision of advice and supervision of dispensing.
