MAC Clinical Research provides specialist diagnostic patient services and manages Phase I to IV clinical trials in healthy volunteers and patients in a large range of therapeutics areas for the pharmaceutical industry. MAC is a fast growing organisation and we are currently looking to increase and strengthen our Production team. Exciting opportunities have arisen for a Pharmacy Research Technician in Pharmaceutical Production to join our pharmacy team in our licensed GMP Pharmacy suite in Leeds. Experience for these roles are preferred with additional training as necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sterile and non-sterile compounding
  • Participation in the environmental monitoring of the production unit
  • Maintenance of equipment and production facility
  • Support in the creation of QC/QA documents
  • Stock control

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified and Registered Pharmacy Technician or Life Science graduate with relevant experience/knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Flexible hours


  • Experience of Sterile or non-Sterile Manufacturing
  • Experience of Small Scale or Bulk or Commercial Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GMP
  • Willingness to travel
  • Previous attendance of Aseptic Preparation courses
  • Experience of both Sterile and non-Sterile Manufacturing
  • IMP manufacturing
  • Trained in aseptic process techniques
