An exciting range of career opportunities exists in our expanding clinical research organisation.  MAC Clinical Research provides specialist diagnostic patient services, and manages clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry.  

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Pharmacy Production Manager to expand production capacity in our licensed GMP Pharmacy facilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. The ideal candidate could be a UK registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician with extensive and demonstrable experience in clinical research, preferably within the manufacturing unit of a CRO or pharmaceutical company. We will also consider candidates who may be a qualified professional with experience of working in a similar role. But candidates must have knowledge and experience of GMP in pharmaceutical manufacturing.  Naturally, we would require applicants to be well organised, have an eye for detail and the ability to work flexibly in accordance with project requirements.  

 

Candidates will have the benefit of working closely with experienced Research Physicians, Project Managers and other key members of the clinical project team to ensure safe and efficient conduct of clinical trials. This role will offer an excellent opportunity to enhance experience in this exciting area.

 

The suitable candidate would be:

  • Responsible for preparation of Investigational Medical Products for clinical trials, including but not limited to reconstitution, packaging, labelling and dispensing according to the Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.

  • Responsible for maintaining the pharmacy related documentation and standard operating procedures. 

  • Sterile and non-sterile manufacturing

  • Management of the production unit

  • Manage maintenance of equipment and production facility

  • Experience of Small Scale or Bulk or Commercial Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice

  • Previous attendance of Aseptic Preparation courses

  • IMP manufacturing

  • Willingness to travel

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Flexible hours
