An exciting range of career opportunities exists in our expanding clinical research organisation.  MAC Clinical Research provides specialist diagnostic patient services, and manages clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry.  We are seeking to appoint a Pharmacist at our MHRA Phase 1 accredited research centre based at our Neuroscience Centre of Excellence, in the Citylabs 1.0 building in Manchester UK and to expand capacity in our MIA (IMP) licensed GMP Pharmacy facilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. The ideal candidate could be a UK registered Pharmacist with extensive and demonstrable experience in clinical research, aseptic technique and GMP manufacturing; preferably within the manufacturing unit of a CRO or pharmaceutical company.


Specialising in Phase 1 and early Phase II trials

You should have an in-depth understanding of pharmacy quality issues and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and be experienced in preparation of a wide variety of dose forms, including sterile products for parenteral administration. Should have experience in working and maintenance of aseptic suites (GMP aseptic preparation) and clinical trials. Desirable: Past Experience in clinical trials, Phase 1 through Phase 3 and good working knowledge of GCP.
