We are currently looking for a Trainee Dispensing Assistant in our Tarporley branch, working 16 hours per week.  Wednesday 1pm to 5.30pm, Friday 1pm to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 4.30pm (1 hour unpaid break). Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager. Your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process.

 

The role will also involve establishing and developing long term relationships with customers ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service. You will be required to assist in the delivery of all commercial pharmacy services where appropriate, including blood pressure measuring and weight management.

 

In this role you will be required to complete administrative records, and ensure that these records are adequately maintained. You will effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing. You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade C or above or accredited equivalent. Also experience of working in a customer focused environment.
