The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s has been ranked 2nd in the UK for Pharmacy and Pharmacology according to the Guardian University Guide 2018.

The Research Fellow will develop multi-layered fixed dose combination oral drug products for cardiovascular diseases and type II diabetes using novel multilayer co-extrusion technology with in-line Raman spectroscopic monitoring for quality control.

The successful Research Fellow will:

•  Have or about to obtain a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering)

•  Have 3 years’ recent relevant research experience to include experience in pharmaceutics with a specific emphasis on development of solid oral dosage forms

•  Have experience of traditional solid dosage form manufacturing technologies and analytical methods relevant to characterisation of oral drug products.
