Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England?

We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work great as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do to help us make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and we encourage care services to improve.

Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

We welcome those who are deeply passionate about quality in healthcare services and wish to seek to make a lasting contribution to improving the experiences of service users and families in the delivery of effective regulation, credible inspections and tangible quality improvements.

Specialist Advisors (SpAs) are clinicians who assist on inspection of health and adult social care providers on an ad-hoc basis. As part of the inspection team, SpAs provide specialist advice, which helps to ensure that CQC’s judgements are informed by up-to-date and credible clinical and professional knowledge and experience.  The role is ad-hoc and can be undertaken alongside your current role.

What we're looking for from you...

We are specifically looking for GPhC registrant Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians preferably with experience of working with care homes and/or hospital pharmacy experience.

You will have up-to-date and credible clinical and professional knowledge and experience which will help you evaluate and analyse evidence and information.

You should be a skilled communicator, with the ability to engage with staff, service users and stakeholders at every level.  You should be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret complex information and be comfortable working transparently as part of a team.

If you're interested and think this is the perfect job for you, apply today.
