Description: Working with one of the biggest Mental Health and Community NHS Foundation Trusts in the country. They are a specialist mental health and community health services trust providing adult , older people’s and young people’s mental health services, substance misuse services, forensic services and learning disability services from a number of hospital and community based premises throughout Essex and some adjacent Counties.

They now have opportunities at Band 7 for a Specialist Community Mental Health Clinical Pharmacists

We are looking for two specialist mental health pharmacists to support the development of pharmacy service within community mental health teams.

You will provide specialist clinical pharmacy in a specific area of clinical and/or operational practice, to support the medicines-related care of patients, support the provision and development of medicines management services and to participate in training, education and research as required.

Person Specification: A GPHC Registered Pharmacist with the ability to work within the UK.

You must be Confident and assertive when dealing with other professionals, excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills including effective written and verbal communication skills Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Proficient IT skills, e.g. ability to use Microsoft Office applications, internet etc. Broad technical, clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge relating to the promotion of high quality, effective and cost efficient use of medicines Good organisational skills e.g. prioritising and time management, and able to work as part of a team or alone Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate good time management Ability to cope with emotional ability and distress amongst the client group
