Description: This top performing University hospital rated “Good” overall and “Outstanding” in some areas in their most recent CQC inspection, currently have opportunities for a Foundation Pharmacist at Band 6.

This is a great time to join the hospital as they have recently restructured the division to deliver the Needs Based Care Project and the trust is due to receive a 99 million pound investment from NHS England to completely develop their site. They are a digitally advanced trust with electronic prescribing already in place and they have installed a bespoke dashboard allowing pharmacists to prioritise their workload. As a Foundation Pharmacist Band 6 you will be offered a chance to broaden you hospital pharmacy experience through a structured rotation programme working within Clinical Pharmacy Services including ward based medicines optimisation, services across Acute Medicine, General Medicine, Complex Care, and the Division of Surgery as well as Medicines information.

The trust is committed to your further training and development to enable you to maximise your potential contribution to patient care and will actively support you in obtaining a post graduate diploma alongside the general level competency framework (subject to funding)

Person Specification: GPHC Qualified pharmacist with an interest in developing a career in Hospital Pharmacy.
