Dispenser – NVQ Level 2 qualified

Echo

London - W3 0RA

Full time - Flexible shift patterns available

Summary

We’re looking for NVQ2 Qualified Dispensers who can support our business in this time of change and provide our patients with their much needed medication. While they are unable to visit their local Pharmacy your role as a Pharmacist will play a pivotal part in supporting the UK during this difficult time.

Echo is a successful and cutting-edge mobile app that people use to manage their NHS repeat prescription ordering. We’re looking for dispensers to help make sure that we can dispense prescriptions and manage stock in a non-patient facing environment.

About the role.

What does being part of Echo dispensing team mean? It involves you getting to help make sure millions of people get the life-changing medications they need, through our distribution network to pharmacies, hospitals and GPs across the country. It also means you’ll be getting to work alongside highly skilled, experienced colleagues who are passionate about making a real difference.

We are a tight-knit unit, and everyone here at Echo is also working towards improving the product and experience every single day. You’ll have constant opportunities to feed into our ongoing systems improvement and the opportunity to liaise not only with our Pharmacy and Operations team, but with Product/App/Engineering teams to shape and develop our internal IT tools.

About you.

We are looking for positive and approachable people who can utilise their Level 2 or equivalent Dispenser qualification to enrich people’s lives. An adaptable and flexible mentality will be key, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills.

We need people with a can-do attitude who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and get things done. In return we offer fantastic progression and development opportunities within the McKesson portfolio.

McKesson have a portfolio of healthcare brands – AAH Pharmaceuticals, LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare and MASTA to name a few. These brands are well-known and well-respected in the industry. They enable McKesson to cover the whole spectrum of healthcare services across the home, wholesale and high-street sectors and provides unrivalled careers paths that no other community pharmacy can offer.

Benefits

  • A physical wellbeing allowance, which is a sum of £350 (after-tax) per qualifying year
  • Annual £500 L&D budget to use toward L&D activities of their choosing
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holiday
