Band: 8a
Salary: £45,753 - £51,668 per annum/pro rata
Interview Date: Week commencing 8th February 2021
Hours: Weekends, late night and bank holiday rota
We are recruiting for a Lead Pharmacist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The successful postholder will be responsible for setup, maintenance and delivery of the Clinical Trial services within the Pharmacy team.
In addition you will provide operational support to the Cancer team in the Pharmacy Aseptic services. There are also opportunities to undertake development in Oncology, Haematology and other clinical Pharmacy areas.
Applicants are required to have previous clinical trials experience and diploma level in clinical pharmacy or equivalent, previous experience working in Haematology, Oncology and Aseptic services would be desirable.
The Pharmacy clinical trials team performs both core and support activities including evaluation of expression of interest and feasibility, IMP management and supporting both participants and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance the participant experience and promote recruitment. In 2020, the team has played a vital role in the setup and support of COVID clinical trials.
