The School of Pharmacy has recently established an ambitious five-year strategy for development of education and research, building on our excellent reputation. Currently we are in the global top 100 in the QS World University rankings by subject. Our current MPharm degree is being developed into a new and innovative MPharm, with a renewed focus on person-centred care and prescribing, underpinned by science. Students will qualify as pharmacist independent prescribers after 5 years in line with the 2021 General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Standards for the initial educational and training of pharmacists.

In line with our strategy, we are seeking to appoint a member of staff to the position of Lecturer (Education) Clinical Pharmacy at either AC2 (Start of Career Lecturer) or AC3 (Established Lecturer) to make a significant contribution to the development of clinical teaching in our undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy courses.

In your cover letter please ensure that you indicate which role you are applying for whether it is the AC2 or the AC3.
