Are you passionate about creating high quality information resources for use in clinical care?

RPS is looking for a confident and experienced manager, or someone who is looking to progress to management, to join the Editorial team at Pharmaceutical Press. The role of Content Manager (Improvements) is to implement content strategy and oversee the longer-term planning and development of content for our flagship publications, the British National Formulary and Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference.  You’ll deliver high quality, well-structured editorial content through content creation and improvement projects, and champion continual improvement in our publications and processes.  You’ll have experience in managing and motiving a team of skilled staff, working collaboratively with other managers, and communicating with stakeholders.

Content Manager (Improvements) Requirements:

  • Degree in pharmacy, medicine, or related clinical field and a good knowledge of the clinical uses of drugs and medicines or other relevant discipline;
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams;
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects on budget and to schedule
  • A good understanding of editorial process;
  • Awareness of the UK and international markets for pharmaceutical, scientific and healthcare information;
  • Experience of stakeholder management at a senior level
