Education and Training Pharmacist

CIG Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to play a pivotal role in the company’s education and training group. Reporting to the Director of Education, you will have a key role in developing training content for pharmacists and pharmacy staff, while also overseeing the delivery of CIGH’s accredited training courses.

This is a full-time role based in the company’s offices in Regent Street, central London, and requires someone who can work flexibly in a fast-moving environment.

Your main duties will be

• researching and writing training content to fit the paper, video and web-based formats developed by CIGH. You will build close working relationships with industry clients, and work with CIGH’s sales and digital teams to create and develop new business opportunities.
• Overseeing and supporting the administration and delivery of GPhC accredited training courses, and managing the relationship with partner companies involved in their delivery.

Additionally, you will help manage day to day workflow in the department, provide reports and figures to the Director of Education, and liaise with regulatory, industry and professional bodies. You will keep up to date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and provide expertise on all pharmacy-related matters to ensure provision of a high-quality training service

Personal requirements

You will be GPhC registered Pharmacist with experience of working in a community pharmacy or primary car setting. You will have a sound knowledge of community pharmacy practice and of the pharmaceutical services delivered from community pharmacies.

You must be IT competent (able to use Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). You need to have excellent collaborative/ team working and time management skills.

Previous experience in the delivery of educational courses and training is desirable. Previous writing experience would be an advantage.

A competitive salary will be offered dependant on the experience you can bring to this role.
