An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacist with an interest in mental health to join our Pharmacy Team at St Andrew's Healthcare, working at our Northampton site. Your role with us As a Clinical Pharmacist you will be allocated designated divisions and wards where you will undertake clinical duties. Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team you will support the optimal use of medicines to ensure our patients
obtain the best possible outcomes from medication. This role also involves supporting the Dispensary Operational Team with the supply of medication, taking part in the dispensary rota as Responsible Pharmacist and taking part in the out of hours on call rota. We are committed to the development of staff and have a clear pathway for development which has been shown with the progress of our clinical pharmacists and technicians to senior roles.
Academically there will be opportunities to undertake the certificate
in psychiatric therapeutics (Aston) and/or an independent prescribing qualification. As a department we support flexible working and there are opportunities to work from home where feasible and workload allows. We are looking for applicants who ideally could work 4 days per week but would also consider other options.
