An opportunity for a motivated and driven Pharmacist OR Pharmacy Manager to join an excellent community pharmacy in Doncaster with a team of hard-working support staff. This small yet busy branch is situated in a picturesque community, close to the local GP surgery. The welcoming and efficient support staff that are in place include an ACT.A busy but steady-paced environment, currently dispensing around 9,000 items per month. There is plenty of opportunity to expand and implement additional services which may interest you, therefore this is a great opportunity for a Pharmacist seeking a new challenge.Opening Hours: Monday to Wednesday 08:30 - 18:00 / Thursday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (closed between 12:30and 13:00)*Salary negotiable depending on role applied for and experience* Key Duties Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied Providing expert clinical advice to customers To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development Alongside the dispensing of medication, you will also be supporting the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear

care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programmes. There is also the opportunity to take on a more managerial role, in which you would also be providing line management to the support staff while also ensuring the branch is run safely and effectively. Good communication is essential in order to build good relationships with not only support staff, but also customers and other healthcare professionals.
