An excellent opportunity for a pharmacist OR pharmacy manager to join a friendly team in a successful community pharmacy in Doncaster. Located in Doncaster city centre, this branch is situated right next to a surgery and has relationships with several others in the vicinity. Its clientele is highly varied with a lot of repeat customers, high footfall, and a lot of acute prescriptions to fill.

There is a great team on-site with varying experience and plenty of opportunity to develop and grow the services currently on offer. There is also a large shop floor that provides the potential to increase over the counter and add-on sales.Average monthly items: 5,500Monday to Friday: 09:00- 18:00 / Saturday 09:00 - 14:00 Key Duties Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role Providing expert clinical advice to customers Support the supervision and training of new staff To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development Alongside the dispensing of medication, you will also be supporting the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear

care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programmes. There is also the opportunity to take on a more managerial role, in which you would also be providing line management to the support staff while also ensuring the branch is run safely and effectively. Good communication is essential in order to build good relationships with not only support staff, but also customers and other healthcare professionals.
