Location: Northampton
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £21,683 - £24,731 Per Annum (Depending on Experience)
The multidisciplinary approach to patient focused care is strongly supported at St Andrew's Healthcare. The Pharmacy team plays a key role in ensuring that medicines are used safely and effectively so that our patients obtain the best possible outcomes from
their medicines. The Role As a PharmacyAssistant you will play a key role in medicines optimisation ensuring that medicines are supplied safely and effectively from our Dispensary in Northampton to our wards and supporting other members of the MDT in maintaining high standards in
relation to medicines management. The role will involve supporting the ward based team for ward stock top ups and working in pharmacy stores and dispensary.Experience working in a hospital as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferable but experience in mental health although helpful is not essential for the role. You will preferably need to have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent in order to be considered for this role. However for the right candidateif you do not have this qualification training is available.
