Our client is currently seeking a Pharmacist, to work for their high performing distribution centre based in Northampton. The role will involve the physical checking of all prescriptions and orders before their dispatch from to patients. All levels of experience will be considered. This is a non-patient facing position. The role will be working between Sunday and Thursday - 10pm to 6am (Weekly shift allowance provided) Salary and Package: Up to £55,000 pa DOE 5% Bnus + Night shift allowance Pension scheme Life Assurance Home protection Healthcare Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist: Membership of GPhC Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) Ability to work on own initiative. Expert knowledge of good dispensing and distribution practice Ability to deal with unpredictable workload. Ability to work under pressure. Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist: Ensure all POM & P medicines are 100% checked for accuracy in product code, product description, batch, expiry date and quantity required. Ensure that all prescriptions are clinically screened and processed. Ensure all errors are recorded on designated forms and corrected.
