As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will provide high quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy services which may include provision of medicines management, advice and evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patient and/or aseptic services and
assist with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services across campus. This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacist looking to develop and work towards their Diploma Skills and Qualifications: Essential MPharm (or equivalent) and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Experience of working within a hospital setting
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good rapport with team and key stakeholders
IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office
Understanding of the GPhC revalidation requirements and up to date knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmacy practice e.g. controlled drugs, health and safety at work
Knowledge and understandingof the GPhC revalidation requirements and up to date knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmacy practice e.g. controlled drugs, health and safety at work Knowledge of drugs, side effects and where to find the information. Access and interpret information e.g.
prescriptions, BNF, eMC
Ability to lead on patient safety and quality initiatives
Understand the importance of patient experience and customer service
Desirable Experience of training and supervising junior staff
Experience in incident and risk management
