The outpatient pharmacy based at a leading city hospital is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team, supporting the ongoing care of patients who have been recently discharged or who attend regularly on an outpatient basis.
Serving one of the largest and most innovative hospitals in the UK, the outpatient pharmacy combines clinical and community elements to support patients with widely diverse healthcare needs - from recent attendees of A&E, to discharged inpatients continuing treatment at home, to people needing support to manage complex and progressive conditions.
The pharmacy is understandably an incredibly fluid and fast-paced environment - dispensing up to 15,000 items per month. So, this role would best suit a Pharmacist who enjoys being challenged and practising in a setting where no two days are the same; you will be fully supported to settle into your new role and receive a comprehensive benefits package including a £500 welcome bonus* and annual bonuses of c. 10% of your salary.
This is a permanent position for an Outpatient Pharmacist with a number of flexible working options available, including full-time (37.5h), part-time, and rotational working patterns.
Person specification:
(Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree (or equivalent). (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist. (Essential) Experience practising in a high-volume, highly variable pharmacy environment
