Weldricks Pharmacy currently have a vacancy for an Accuracy Checking Technician to join their team in Doncaster. We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician with an accredited level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification, registered with the GPhC and has completed

a GPhC-accredited accuracy checking course. Hours of work are 30 hours; Monday to Friday, working on a 2-week rota; 6.00am to 12.00pm and 12.15pm to 6.15pm. We will consider applications from candidates who are willing to work between 30 and 40 hours per week. About the Role

Permanent contract Hourly rate from £10.42 to £13.47 per hour (depending on level of qualification) We are looking for friendly, professional and caring individuals who can provide a great service while working in a sometimes-pressurised environment. Joining our team of Accuracy Checking Technicians, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of healthcare by accurately checking dispensed medicines, engaging with novel dispensing technology and advising on prescriptions and Medicines under

the direction of a pharmacist. You will also be required to: Prepare for and take an active role in the six-monthly review with your branch Pharmacist. Competently check the accuracy of dispensed, clinically checked prescriptions. Identify when you need professional support (for example any unfamiliar items to be checked) with the Pharmacist. Deal with and record dispensing errors. Engage actively with the Clinical Governance meeting to enhance patient safety and encourage junior colleagues to learn and improve. Contribute to the development and review of the Accuracy Checking SOP. Benefits
