About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Pharmacy Medicines Management Technician to join our friendly, patient-focused team within Manx Care.

This is a senior ward-based pharmacy technician role at Noble’s Hospital where you will be directly involved in delivering the Medicines Management Service on our Inpatient Wards, taking medication histories and counselling patients on their medication. You will liaise with Ward Pharmacists over issues, and provide leadership, training and mentoring to other pharmacy staff in Medicines Management. You will also discuss medicines with patients, provide counselling and ensure medicines are correctly prescribed.

You will be key in developing the Medicines Management for Pharmacy Technicians at Noble’s Hospital and will have some freedom to develop this role, under the guidance of the Lead Clinical Pharmacist.
