A leading independent pharmacy is now looking for a Second Pharmacist to join the team!
The pharmacy is in a great location close to local amenities, parking spots, and health and care services. The team therefore supports a wide patient base with a diverse range of pharmacy needs, providing accessible services both privately and in conjunction with NHS Wales in a modern and at-ease setting.
As Second Pharmacist, you will work alongside a highly experienced Primary Pharmacist and a full team of qualified pharmacy support staff to dispense new and repeat prescriptions, advise patients on their medication and minor ailment concerns, and provide other additional services (such as flu vaccines and smoking cessation support) in line with community needs.
This role would be ideal for a Pharmacist looking for an opportunity that combines a lower time commitment with a welcoming professional environment and the support to develop and thrive in pharmacy.
This is a permanent, Second Pharmacist position covering an average of 31.25 or 35.5 hours per week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and occasional Saturday half-day commitments).
Person specification:
(Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree (or equivalent). (Essential) GPhC registration as a Pharmacist. Newly qualified Pharmacists will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
