Clinical Pharmacist - Private Hospital
Location:Wrexham, North Wales Position:Clinical Pharmacist Service:General Hospital Salary:Up to £48,000 per annum (Up to band 7) - dependent on experience Hours:Full or part time hours available Contract type:Permanent About the role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Clinical Pharmacist to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Wrexham, North Wales. The hospital offers fast access to consultations with specialists in a range of treatments, supported by advanced imaging and diagnostic technology. The staff at the hospital are passionate about providing person centred care to the patients and they are looking for a like-minded Clinical Pharmacist to join the team. The role will be working as part of an experienced and friendly pharmacy team on a permanent basis.
Duties and responsibilities You will be working as a Clinical Pharmacist and responsible for the following;
Provide advice and support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians Ensuring safe, appropriate and cost-effective us of medicines throughout the hospital Build strong working relationships with consultants and colleagues working to improve patient outcomes Plan and deliver pharmaceutical care to meet patients health and well- being Treating every patient with empathy and compassion Suggest new processes/ equipment to improve health outcomes and increase the safety throughout the hospital Who we're looking for
Registered Pharmacist Eligibility to live and work in the UK GPHC registration with no restrictions At least 2 years experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist in the UK Ideally hospital or GP experience working in pharmacy Excellent communication skills Effective stock and budgetary control Benefits: Employees are offered a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:
