Are you Ready for a Change from Community Pharmacy?
Pharmacists with a community background, your applications are highly welcomed! This exceptional opportunity allows you to leverage your clinical skills without the routine dispensing tasks. Based in vibrant Brighton, East Sussex, we are seeking a qualified pharmacist ready to fulfill an enhanced clinical role within a dynamic team of pharmacists and support staff.
Your responsibilities will include providing pharmaceutical advice to hospital clinical staff, supporting the dispensary through clinical screening of prescriptions, and collaborating with visiting pharmacists.
Position: Clinical Pharmacist Location: Brighton, East Sussex Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum, plus a company car or car allowance (Must hold a UK driving licence) Hours: Monday - Friday only, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Further Information:
* Conducts clinical screening of prescriptions upon receipt
* Contacts relevant clinical staff to resolve queries regarding prescriptions
* Provides timely and succinct responses to medical information queries from clinical staff
* Offers advisory support to visiting pharmacists
* Ensures compliance with change control procedures in medication matters
* Reviews Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Manages Safety Notices received from MHRA, NHS England, and manufacturers
* Acts as a responsible pharmacist when dispensary cover is needed
