The Role
The client is seeking a seasoned Pharmacist to support our Superintendent Pharmacist and Directors in shaping the future of our services. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of strategic areas, including:
* National Care Home Service Development: Innovate and implement a complete care home service via a Distant Selling Pharmacy (DSP).
* Pharmacy First Initiative: Lead and expand our Pharmacy First services on a national level.
* Healthcare Collaboration: Forge and nurture relationships with doctors and carers, supporting them with compliance aids across the country.
* Private Pharmacy Prescribing: Drive the development of our private pharmacy prescribing business through our website.
* Procedure and Compliance Enhancement: Assist in managing and reviewing written procedures, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and enhancing operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is not just an experienced pharmacist but a visionary leader ready to take our services to the next level. Requirements include:
1. Qualified Prescribing Pharmacist: Must have a clear specialisation area.
2. Pharmacy First Experience: Previous involvement in training and consultations is preferred.
3. Compliance Aid Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with compliance aids.
4. Care Home Service Background: Experience in care home service development and management.
5. Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to interpret pharmacy regulation, conduct risk assessments, adjust pharmacy processes, and document written procedures.
6. Patient Review Expertise: Experience in conducting patient reviews and analysing trends.
7. NMR Experience: Familiarity with NMRs and their application in patient care.
