*We are currently recruiting for a part time, permanent position of a Pharmacy Technician at our site in Lister Hospital, Stevenage. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in expanding their skills and knowledge in an outpatient hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in working within a community pharmacy dispensary based setting.*

The working hours for this position is flexible hours for part time position including Saturday total 28 hours.

Are you an NVQ Level 3 qualified technician? is the qualification from a nationally recognised provider such as the NPA or Buttercups looking to progress your career.

Medicines Counter assistant (MCA) trained individual

You will work closely with a highly motivated Pharmacy team, further developing and delivering an efficient, convenient and accessible pharmacy service to meet the needs of our patients.

Your day to day duties will involve: * Supporting the technical aspects of the dispensary including the receipt and endorsing of prescriptions as well as the labelling, dispensing and assembly of medication. * Counsel patients on the use of their medication where appropriate, tailoring the conversations to ensure patients are fully informed about their healthcare needs. * Support the dispensary team in actively promoting efficient pharmacy operations and services.

Full training will be provided on induction. As a minimum requirement, you will have completed technician (NVQ3) course or equivalent.
