Band 8a Lead Pharmacist - Peterborough

Our agency team are looking for a pharmacist in the heart of Peterborough. A large NHS trust is recruiting a strong hospital pharmacist to join the division on a locum contract. Main duties at 8a level are outlined below:

review and develop policies, produce medicines optimisation reports to present at monthly divisional meetings

-

provide line management and support to the junior pharmacist team

-

lead on educational and training needs to Band 6/7 pharmacists

PLEASE NOTE: The post holder is required for a minimum of 4-6 months and suitable candidates will have relevant NHS experience in order to hit the ground running. The service are looking for pharmacists with a minimum of 4 years hospital work who can comfortably line manage other Band 6/7 Pharmacists.
