Position: Pharmacy ACT / Accuracy Checking Technician
Location: West Bromwich
About Us: Our client is an independent pharmacy based in West Bromwich, dedicated to delivering a wide range of pharmacy services to the local community. This well-equipped pharmacy is led by an experienced manager and a skilled dispensary team.
Responsibilities & Duties: As a Pharmacy ACT/Pharmacy Technician your primary responsibilities include:
Dispensing items under the Pharmacist's supervision
Receiving and verifying prescriptions
Managing stock orders and inventory control
Checking and receiving deliveries from suppliers
Ensuring stock rotation and conducting date checks
Dispensing medication into monitored dosage systems
Utilising the electronic prescription service
Qualifications and Skills: Essential Skills:
Possession of Dispensary Assistant NVQ2, Pharmacy Technician NVQ3, or ACT qualifications, or their equivalents. One of these qualifications is mandatory for applying.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Desired Skills:
NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Service
GPhC registration
Comprehensive training and development opportunities
Salary: £15 - £17 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm or 9-6pm
Experience: Pharmacy focused: 2 years (required)
