We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to undertake the Pharmacy Operations Manager role, part of a homecare service based in Harlow, Essex. If you’re looking for your next challenge, congratulations! Info below:
Job Title:Pharmacy Operations Manager Location: Harlow, Essex Duration: Ongoing, PERMANENT position Schedule: Full time. Mon-Fri required. 37.5 hours per week covering any 7.5 hours per day between the hours of 8am - 6pm. Start Date: September 2024 Salary: £84,000 per annum - £90,000 per annum Job Desription (Please note, a more in depth thorough JD can be provided to interested applicants).
To ensure the delivery of a safe and compliant pharmaceutical service that drives quality excellence and meets the requirements of
the GPhC and RPS professional standards - delivering outstanding service to patients.
Leading and driving clinical governance in line with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards set by regulatory bodies including: the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) , Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Caldicott Principles Creating and delivering the Pharmacy Services operational plan that supports the delivery of the Pharmacy Services strategy - overseeing the day to day operation of the Pharmacy Service and driving operational standards Creating and delivering the operational plan and the associated objectives for Pharmacy Oncology that support the delivery of the Pharmacy Services strategy Creating the education and learning framework for all LPCH registered Pharmacists and driving its delivery Leading and driving a department where the performance and potential of people is maximised Identifying, building, and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships Direct reports - Lead Pharmacy Technician, Lead Pharmacy Trainer, Lead Pharmacists x4. These will report into you. You will report to the Pharmacy Director.
Experience required
Senior Pharmacy Management experience You must be confident in managing a team as you will have numerous direct reports An understanding of homecare and the processes surrounding this. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
