Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Pharmacy Technician with acute ward experience to join our dynamic team in Ipswich on a long-term locum contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician looking to make a significant impact in a well-established healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.

* Assisting in the dispensary and participating in ward rounds.

* Managing and maintaining pharmacy inventory.

* Providing expert advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.

* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

* Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

* Supervising and training junior pharmacy staff.

Requirements:

* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

* Previous experience in a Band 6 role or equivalent.

* Acute ward experience is essential.

* Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
