The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. *We are seeking a Pharmacist Manager* for our pharmacy. We are looking for someone who is keen to turn their hand to leading a local, retail pharmacy. You will enjoy the continuity of working with a great, solid team to continually develop on a consistently reliable service to the local population near Arundel, Bognor Regis and Chichester. Our pharmacy will appeal to you if you are a process as well as people orientated pharmacist. With our dispensing robot and other system developments, you will want to work with the team to create slick processes that optimise both workflow and safety. These will help to create the time to provide clinical and service orientated services to our patients. We hope these will be attractive to someone with enhanced or developing skills that can grow patient services and the business, whilst maintaining satisfaction and work-life balance for the whole team. With this in mind, you will be a hardworking self starter and with the keen attention to detail needed to run and grow this exciting small business with the autonomy not afforded by bigger, chain pharmacies. You will also have the initiative and drive to build on the opportunities afforded by the robot, other digital developments and pharmacy based patient services. Maybe you are relatively new to independent pharmacy management or would now like a change from the ad hoc and increasingly competitive nature of locum work. Whatever your circumstances, let us know if this opportunity is of interest to you. The salary offered is £55,000 for a 4.5 day week ( 4 x 8hr weekdays; 3hr Saturday) or £60,000 for a 5 day week (M-F). *Plus* a significant, realistic and achievable bonus. *What does a Pharmacist Manager role at our pharmacy look like?* • Full responsibility for all aspects of the business - providing experience and development for someone who would like to establish and grow their career in running a community pharmacy business • Developing efficient and effective dispensing, stock and other community pharmacy related processes optimising the opportunities of the pharmacy dispensing robot and other workflow systems • Driving the development of enhanced services (e.g. Pharmacy First, Flu Vaccination, Hypertension and other additional services) and leading the annual Pharmacy Quality Scheme initiatives • Leading a small, dedicated team and supporting their development • Creatively growing the business and problem-solving • Providing an efficient, effective and clinically-sound service for our local population and maintaining our reputation as part of our community • Has a MPharm degree or equivalent and maintains current fully qualified registration with the GPhC. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus scheme Benefits: * Free parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: * Arundel., BN18 0EY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: * UK GPhC Registration (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: YAPPM02
