Pharmacy Assistant (NVQ Level 2) - NHS Hospital in Hertfordshire
Location: Hertfordshire, NHS Hospital Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour Agency: Hunter AHP
Are you a qualified Pharmacy Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to work within the NHS? Hunter AHP have an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 qualification to join a highly respected NHS Hospital in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacy team in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to hospital patients. Accurately dispense medication under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff. Provide support with the preparation, labelling, and distribution of medicines. Assist with stock management, including ordering, storing, and maintaining medications. Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control. Provide customer service and advice to patients and hospital staff as necessary. Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential). Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant, ideally within an NHS setting (preferred). Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
