We are seeking a Newly Qualified Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team in Sutton.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and patient-focused individual to launch their career in pharmacy, with the added benefit of training to become an Independent Prescriber after two years of service.
As part of a friendly, supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, improving patient outcomes, and contributing to the smooth running of the pharmacy.
Key responsibilities: Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense medications in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Patient Advice : Provide expert advice on the safe use of prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) : Conduct MURs and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations to ensure patients’ medicines are working effectively and improve health outcomes.
Clinical Guidance : Offer professional guidance and support to healthcare colleagues, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacy technicians.
Pharmacy Operations : Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock management and administrative duties.
Customer Service : Deliver excellent customer service, building strong, trusting relationships with patients and members of the community.
Health Promotion : Promote public health campaigns, wellness initiatives, and healthy living advice to the local community.
Professional Development : Keep up to date with changes in pharmacy guidelines, regulations, and best practices to ensure high standards of service.
Team Collaboration : Assist in the training and development of pharmacy assistants and technicians, ensuring a collaborative working environment.
Collaborative Working : Work closely with local healthcare providers to enhance patient care and achieve better health outcomes.
Requirements: Qualifications : Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPh C).
Experience : Recent pharmacy graduate or newly qualified pharmacist.
