Regional Liaison Pharmacist (4 posts)

Contract type: Fixed Part-time, 14 hours per week, Fixed-term for 18 Months

Salary: £55,000 per annum, pro rata, + excellent benefits

Location: Main base in London Office, East Smithfield

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) is the professional body for pharmacists and pharmacy in England, Scotland and Wales.  We are looking for four Regional Liaison Pharmacists to help more pharmacists become involved in system leadership.  

The NHS in England is undergoing significant change in how it delivers care and new ways of working are emerging. The formation of STPs and the development of Integrated Care Systems present a significant opportunity to ensure pharmacists are involved in planning and designing health systems as they develop. This will highlight the profession’s role in ensuring the best value from medicines for both patients and the NHS. However, we know this has not been easy for some areas and these roles will learn from those that are succeeding and support other pharmacists to do the same.
